Ask Carl Magnus Palm

What would you say is the most unusual thing you discovered about Benny in
researching for Benny's Road to ABBA?

CMP: I don't think I discovered anything that was very unusual; mostly, the
research fleshed out the image I already had of him during this period of
his life. I think the most emotionally affecting bit was the story of how he
felt when Sunny Girl hit number one on the charts in Sweden and the
implications for him in his choice of career. Although he has told the story
before, I think the account he gives in the book really shows you exactly
how important this was for him. I know I was touched by it.
