Ask Carl Magnus Palm

I believe you have an interesting story about Benny contacting you when
Mamma Mia! was being produced for Broadway? Can you elaborate on that?

CMP: I'm not sure it's so interesting, but anyway: He called me up because
he needed my help to prove that the original ABBA songs were performed by a
relatively small group of musicians. I believe this was because the union
rules for Broadway productions stipulates a minimum number of musicians, and
the Mamma Mia! production in actual fact required less than that, plus it
would be less expensive with fewer musicians. So I provided him with a list
of the musicians who played on each of the songs.
