A-Teens: video and school - then the world is waiting.

We find them in a grey building in an industrial area in Stockholm. A Teens are dressed up and maded up and with glitter in their hair, and now they are practising dance steps to their new video. The theme in the video is friendship.

But "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" is about something completely different.

- We are teens after all, explains Amit.

It has been a long day. Sara arrived as early as half past 8 in the morning. But the youngsters haven't been short of things to do. Dhani is studying for a math test on Thursday.

- We had two last week. That makes three in two weeks. Write that and complain about school, he says and laughs.

Six friends from the dance school are there. Not just for company, they are going to partake in the video. Small talk, candies and dress fitting make the time go by. At one 'o clock they were supposed to get started. At five the dance teacher puts her head into the lounge.

- A-Teens on stage please!

Now concentration is what counts. It's an expensive production. How much the video is going to cost is something the record company don't wanna talk about.

Dressed in red and white the four walks on a line into the studio, where cameramen and technicians have been preparing for hours.

- Amit, now you take tiny steps forwards! Sara, one to the right! Maybe some more.

In the beginning of the video we can see Dhani and Amit walking down an empty street. They enter a shop and see a snowbubble, (snöbubbla - is that the word for these glass balls with plastic "snow" inside?? / Linda's note) something the director collects by the way.

There are some houses inside. And suddenly the boys fly inside the bubble, and in through a window in one of the buildings. And it is in this room that A-Teens are now - in the chorus sequence that is being shot right at the moment.

The director Sebastian Reed contemplates every shot. After the fourth or fifth one he runs up:

-This feels good. Except for Sara, you are looking into the camera.

Change the light! Makeup Check! The music starts again. And so it continues for hours and hours. After another day of recording the video is ready to be cut and pasted together. But for A Teens the adventure continues. For not so long ago the youngsters were in the UK and the US for promotion and soon they are going back to USA and further on to Japan.

A-Teens are on their way to conquer the world - just like ABBA, their role models.
