Here are two of the staff from Borders Bookshop who were dressed up in '70s gear- for the launch of Bright Lights, Dark Shadows. They are with one of the displays that was in Borders for the launch.
After Molly Meldrum had launched the book, he got two little girls on stage to sing 'Thank You For The Music'. They could have been the new Agnetha and Frida!
You can tell from this photo that Borders staff actually have no idea what it was like to dress in the 70s.
Borders went above and beyond the call of duty with their promotion of Bright Lights, Dark Shadows in-store. Here is one of their window displays for the book.
