ABBAMAIL Man of the Month

Erik Menkens. He's a gentle German giant. And he's
ABBAMAIL's Man of the Month for August 2002.

This shot features Erik and his oh-so-camp ABBA jacket
at this year's ABBF ABBA Day in the Netherlands. Erik
not only danced and pranced that day but he also sang!
He was a karaoke queen and completely unstoppable!

Erik has his own little fan club amongst ABBAMAILers
because of shy, gentle and kind nature. But who really knows what
 goes on at his mystery farm deep in the heart of Wangerland
 in Germany. No, that's not a spelling mistake,
it really is in Wangerland!

When Erik is not out terrorising parts of Europe with fellow
ABBAMAILers like Samia Jalal, he can be found plotting away
on his farm with his ferocious dogs. If you meet Erik and
he doesn't talk back - don't worry - he's not being rude, he's
just shy. Offer him a few drinks and he'll loosen up!

He's a semi-legend in his own lunch time and he gives German
ABBA fans a good name. He's ABBAMAILer Erik Menkens!
