Robin Chism is ABBAMAIL's Man of the Month for October 2002.

Robin does not contribute a lot to ABBAMAIL's internet mailing list (due to AOL) but, when he does, it is usually pretty good scoop direct from Görel or Björn's assistant. He is one of the original ABBAMAIL members.

Robin has met many people in the ABBA community through his various travels. Twice he has travelled to Sweden for a "weekend" trip, first for "Chess" and then to the 30 Year Tribute Concert. He has also travelled to EVERY Mamma Mia! opening in the US: San Francisco, L.A., Chicago,Boston, New York City and has caught the show in various touring cities including Tampa and Atlanta.

Robin does all of this while holding the position of President of AJI Jewelery Group. In his career, he is tops, the greatest boss, anyone could ever ask for. He is respected among retailers across America. And keep in mind, this guy came from a very rural Florida town the size of a postage stamp with only one McDonald's.

He's cute - he can hold his own in the cuteness department? Robin's beauty is inside and out. He is generous beyond words.

In Stockholm, Emma (Björn's assistant) actually sought Robin out just to say hello and ask if he was going to be at the Mamma Mia! Hamburg and Tokyo premieres.

You just can't meet Robin and walk away without 2 thoughts:  1. WOW! and 2.What an ABBA fan!

Robin lives in Atlanta, in an old home in a very historical district. ABBA abounds through his home in a very tasteful manner. Posters are framed and matted. Ticket stubs are framed and matted. Books are flawlessly arranged on a beautiful glass top coffee table. Robin brings a High Society edge to ABBA fandom. And just think, he rode his bicycle miles and miles to buy his first ABBA album!
