This month, being Nanne month on ABBAMAIL, our Record of the Month is the re-release of Alla Mina Ansikten.All My Faces is the English translation of the title and you certainly get to see many of Nanne's different faces and personas on this incredible album. A bonus track has now been added - Ett Vackert Par. This duet was disqualified from this year's Swedish Eurovision Song Contest because it had been played on the radio - or at least another version of the song had. This is against the rules and it seemed the song was destined for oblivion until Nanne decided to include it on her re-release of All Mina Ansikten. Another bonus is that a longer version of Men has been included. Men was in 2001's UK Eurovision Song Contest finals. It is also the sole English language track on Alla Mina Ansikten. How to describe Nanne's music? Powerful, emotive, wild, full of amazing imagery and also, at times, incredibly heartfelt and gentle. Some of the English translations of the track titles might give you an idea of what you are about to experience with Nanne:

E.T. for Real In one song, Nanne plays the role of Mrs. Parat who never has any time. Not even to save her son's life. It is a very biting, powerful lyric. See the lyrics on left hand side of this page and you'll know what I mean! Benny's son Peter (Nanne's husband) has written a short instrumental piece that appears prior to E.T. for Real. It sets the scene for the next song with its haunting science fiction motif. There's no shortage of musical talent in this family, that's for sure! All we can say, is order this CD immediately!
