Agnetha TV Special: Swedish version versus International version I just finished watching the Swedish version of the Agnetha show. What a difference! First, the Swedish one was 40 minutes long, not 45. The interview was all in Swedish. I watched it only once but I will watch it many, many more times and I will give you a full report. Just the first impressions now: There was no teaching Swedish for the audience. That part was made for the International version. There were questions that were skipped in the International version, such as: Do you think that you were/are a good mother? She talks quite a lot about this and says that she hopes that she has been able to give them a good grounding for her children so that they can enjoy their lives. There was some footage that was skipped in the International version and I can assure that all hard-core fans want to see this Swedish version, because it is a whole and it goes deeper to things, although we all know those details so no news here. The international one is like a piece of meat that has been cut off here and there, something added, something cut off and so it has become a bit blurry or makes you wonder why it was all so "sloppy". What else? In the Swedish version Agnetha sings "Sometimes when I am dreaming" in front of a piano. This footage is missing from the International version. She has been given the chance to sing one of her favourite songs on the album and the documentary concentrates on this song. A hint? Maybe it will be the next single to be released? A very powerful song! I have to say that after watching the International version and this Swedish version in successive dates has been only due to this list and its wonderful fans. There are not many Finns either who see SVT1 in their tellies..so it is a good thing to live in Turku ;-). After having seen Agnetha in such natural surroundings and so at ease I have to think whether she should be my favourite member...again. She is lovely! She is not the mad woman from Ekerö. She is a warm person full of good humour and laughter! And I am sure that she and Lotta became very good friends. About the kiss: much ado about nothing. It does not last the whole song, but the pair looks at each other, smile, and the kiss again, so I don't think that they hit any kind of record in kissing ;-). Thumbs up for Agnetha. She is strong!
