Biography: Carl Magnus Palm Carl Magnus Palm is recognised as the world's foremost Abba historian. His upcoming book Bright Lights, Dark Shadows: The Real Story Of Abba is the most comprehensive biography ever written about the super group. Last year he collaborated with photographer Anders Hanser, a close friend of Abba, to publish a photographic book titled From Abba To Mamma Mia! When writing Abba - The Complete Recording Sessions published in 1994, Palm interviewed all four members of Abba extensively. Palm was involved in putting together the Abba CD box set Thank You For The Music. He has also contributed liner notes to several Abba-related CDs, such as the re-mastered version of the compilation album ABBA Gold and the 2001 reissues of Abba's original albums. He has also written a biography on The Beatles for the Swedish market. Palm was born in 1965 and lives in Stockholm with his cat James. |
