Frida in Munich  - Matti Crocker Report

Just to add my 2 euros... This so called īfanī, I really wanted to smash his face in!

I wish Iīd stood up and told him to shut up, but like most people, I guess I was too stunned.

The warmth in the audience was very evident, and Frida was all smiles, but after two perfect rehearsals, it wasnīt plain sailing for the performance. As the song started it was clear Frida was having trouble with her earpiece and tried to stop things. But as the voice started and she was busy talking to Jon Lord, it was very clear (to the audience at large who may not have otherwise noticed) she would be performing to playback.

After a couple of minutes and help from the technicians, and another false start, she was a bit tense and seemed to compose herself when the fuckwit fan called out. She was visibly shaken, and the host came to her defense berating this fan whowas sitting up the back. Frida had little time to compose herself before the song, but she did so admirably.

The crowd went wild a few times and then there was a tiny interview after, but she was clearly nervous and slightly emotional, as was Jon Lord. I donīt think this will make the cut of the program, but was an adlib to end her performance on a high, and we didnīt disappoint I hope.

This really marred the day for what was otherwise quite fantastic and an opportunity I never really believed I would have.

To find out later he was a īfanī simply floored me. But why was I suprised, thereīs always one ABBA CUNT (tm) to spoil it for the others.
