being an ABBA fan was exciting and fun
Do you remember the days
when being an ABBA fan was about excitement, fun, following the
group's career and just enjoying everything. The days before it became about
money, record
companies threatening and suing fans and the music became secondary.
This is a picture from an Australian women's magazine from a time when being an
ABBA
fan was still about happiness and fun: in December 1977, Björn & Agnetha
welcomed their
new baby Christian Peter Ulvaeus into the world. The day was actually December
4th.
All the world's papers and magazines covered the birth and fans were watching
ABBA - The Movie
in cinemas and listening to "The Name of the Game" on the radio and on their
stereos.
