ABBA on
"The Don Lane Show"
As you can see our
picture of the month is an ABBA Bubble Gum card from the mid 70s. Produced in
two sets - pink and blue - with a jigsaw puzzle in black & white on the back,
these bubblegum cards
came in a pack of 5 with a stick on pink bubble gum for the grand price of
20cents!!!
This one is kinda special because it shows ABBA on the Don Lane Show during
their 1976 promotional tour
of Australia - they did two songs including their brand new single "Fernando"
and brought the house down!
Hard to believe it is actually thirty years and some months since this shot was
taken.
